These kits were born on June 13, 2010, to my blue Mini Rex doe, Blueberry. There were
4 of them, but one jumped out of the nest box when they were 3 days old. A week later, another kit
vanished. We think a snake got it. We took Skeeter and Thunder to Travis Akehurst's house, to
protect the remaining kits. Just before their eyes opened, Thunder got behind the nest box and
Blueberry hopped in, pinning him in the back of the hutch.
The only kit I had left was KSS Skeeter. When he was a couple months old, I brought
him and his mother back to my rabbitry. Skeeter is doing really well and getting big. I'm working
with him by putting him on his back and checking his teeth, legs, feet and toe nails, so he can be my showmanship rabbit.
Skeeter is just too cute for words!
